Help us create a digital nation, where no one is left behind.

We’re building a nation where digital technology enables everyone to progress. Every home, community, school, and business – big or small.

We’re empowering everyone with digital connectivity. Making sure we all have access to vital public sector services, And strengthening our country’s cyber security.

That means putting users’ needs at the heart of everything we do. And changing how we work to transform and join up digital services for millions of people.

We’re an organisation that touches the lives of everyone across Scotland, and beyond.

With big ambitions come big opportunities, and the digital profession has some of the most rewarding jobs and careers available today.

We’re building new services and redesigning old ones, and we need innovative, curious, and passionate people to keep us moving forward. If you can rethink old approaches, and transform systems and services, there’s a place for you here.

You’ll get to put your skills to the test, using technology and innovation to tackle some of the most complex and important problems you’ll ever face.

The Digital, Data and Technology Profession (DDaT) profession spans a vast range of roles across government. We currently have over 50 digital, data and technology job roles, organised into career paths within eight job families.
